I keep a list of my favorite compliments in my head. Things people have said to me. You’d think that sounds conceited, but my favorite compliments are really quite arbitrary. They’re more whimsical than anything. Like when my mother told me she thinks I’ll be the daughter to set a good table one day. Or the time a friend told me I could pull off a face tat. One time someone told me I reminded them of The Glitch from Wreck it Ralph. You know, the little girl who is a programming mistake in the game Sugar Rush.
Something about that last compliment stuck with me. I like it. I relate to it. That’s where my blog title came from.
Besides that, if you wanna be in my head, you’ll have to read what I write.
“I have yet to meet anyone who doesn’t have a deep yearning to feel fully and openly, and to feel genuinely themselves.”
